St. Anne, mother of the Virgin Mary and grandmother of Jesus, shares this double-sided Italian medal with St. Therese of Lisieux, the Little Flower.

Anne is the patroness of grandmothers, mothers, women in labor, and unmarried women, while Therese promised to spend her heaven doing good upon earth. Two generations of holiness on one pendant make it a touching gift between a grandmother and granddaughter — in either direction.
